The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) has introduced the Woman Accountant of the Year Award as part of the Accountancy Service Awards (ASA). The aim is to recognise the phenomenal contributions of female accountants in their organisations and communities.
“Traditionally, accountancy has been a male-dominated profession, but this state of affairs has changed,” said CPA Derick Nkajja the Secretary/CEO of ICPAU.

Highlighting the prevalent issue of waste disposal, Kibekityo called for a shift towards utilizing waste for productive purposes.

In his presentation, Taking Advantage of Our Natural Environment, at the 12th Economic Forum at Imperial Resort Beach Entebbe, he explained how utilising nature can optimise our health.
