Ms Elizabeth Kateme is the Assistant Commissioner Business, Social Development Education and Training (BSDET), Principal Education Officer/BE and Senior Education Officer/Business Education at the Ministry of Education and Sports/BTVET/TVET Department.
Prior to that, she was a lecturer as well as Head of the Business Studies department at the National Teachers’ Colleges of Nkozi and Mubende.
She was also a part-time lecturer at Kyambogo University School of Business and Management, teaching Financial & Management Accounting.
Ms Kateme is a member of several Governing Councils of TVET Institutions and a focal /desk officer for several TVET Projects.
She also coordinated the launch of the 1st National Skills competition in Uganda by the FL/MS in 2018.
She was a former senior UNEB Examiner and team Leader, Commerce.
She is an advocate for the girl child.
