CPA Timothy David Ediomu is a full member of ICPAU since 2006.

He is motivated by the desire to contribute towards the growth of the accountancy profession in Uganda and the Institute. He is also desirous of addressing the current challenges being faced by professional accountants, especially those in Small and Medium Practices (SMPs), as well as build on the successes of the previous Councils and clear any unfinished business. He would also like to see improvements in the Accountants Act in order to serve members better.

His main objective is to put in place policies and programmes that equip the secretariat and members of the Institute to discharge their mandate proactively. He also desires to use the various professional networks to enable Council have an impact in the decision-making process in the country, as well as improve on the visibility of the CPA brand in society.

He has served on ICPAU’s committees of Council since 2016, namely; Marketing Committee and Members Services Committee. He is currently a member of the Events Management Committee.

As a partner at Ediomu and Company since 2006, he has continuously sponsored the Institute’s activities and wishes to continue serving the Institute even at Council level. He has also sponsored a number of students for the CPA Course and also keeps encouraging more to take up the course as he continues to offer professional training to upcoming professionals under the Practical Experience Training (PET) Programme.

Timothy also worked as a Finance Director at UKI Uganda Limited between 2000- 2005. Previously, Timothy served as Auditor and Audit Assistant at Kassim Lakha Abdulla (now PKF Uganda) and Dalal & Associates respectively.

Besides his professional accountancy training, Timothy holds certificates in Data Analysis, Financial Modelling & Analysis, and Risk Management from the University of Cape Town.
