Board Members, CEOs and CFOs Meet at the ICPAU 2nd C-Suite Forum to Discuss Organisational Success
The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) is set to hold the 2nd C-Suite Forum on Wednesday 29 May 2024, at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
The Forum is an exclusive engagement for C-suite executives. It serves as a unique avenue for Finance Professionals to engage with Chief Executive Officers and Board executives for deeper dialogue on the synergies that propel organizational success and sustainability.
“It is imperative that the board, chief executive officers and heads of finance officers are strategically aligned to drive organisational growth and deliver sustainable entities,” said ICPAU CEO CPA Derick Nkajja.
“It is through complementary initiatives and efforts that positive performance can be achieved,” he added.
Under the theme; the Collaborative Role of the Board, CEO and CFO in Fostering Organisational Performance, this year’s Forum focusses on best practices for leading high-performance organisations, including approaches for strategic thinking and ideal corporate governance practices.
ICPAU seeks to produce and regulate competent accountants who can create impact in the society, through professional excellence, accountability, integrity and responsiveness. This requires prudent financial management and exceptional leadership performance.
The speakers at the 2nd C-Suite Forum are: CPA Joshua Karamagi, Managing Director of Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited; Ms Proscovia Nabbanja, Chief Executive Officer at Uganda National Oil Company Limited (UNOC); and CPA Ronald Mutumba, Vice President of ICPAU. The session will be moderated by Mr Robert Kabushenga, a passionate coffee farmer and Administrator at Rugyeyo Farm.
The Forum is expected to bring together leaders of over 50 organisations from both the public and the private sectors.
