PRACTICE MANAGEMENT COURSE

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) runs a mandatory Practice Management Course (PMC) for all practicing accountants.
Developed with the support of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the course is aimed at preparing accountants for their accountancy practice roles and responsibilities, with the focus on
relevant and current issues. It will also provide an opportunity to network with your peers and have your questions answered by key ICPAU staff.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- The legislative framework within which an accounting firm operates.
- Opportunities and Threats in the Market Place and how to deal with them.
- Management of an accounting business.
