Auditing Culture & Conduct: Key Considerations for COVID 19

Overview:

Entities are struggling to minimize business disruption from COVID-19 while navigating new realities. Internal audit function has a key role in such a crisis. Culture based on strong values creates a greater probability of steady progress in achieving business objectives and retaining high-performance for staff among others. The function will assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment directly impacted by culture, as well as the conduct that arises from staff acting out and exhibiting their interpretation of the values of that culture.

Objectives:

By the end of the training, participants should be able to:

• Develop key strategies in auditing culture and conduct in an unpredictable environment.
• Continuously assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment.

CPD Hours:

Participants will be awarded 2 hours of CPD upon full time attendance.
